Somaliland HOPE Association is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. Founded in May, 2007 in Somaliland and legally registered by the Ministry of planning and the office of the Attorney General.
The profound poverty, socioeconomic exclusiveness, vulnerability of young children, and persistent adverse climate change impacts were the main agents catalyzed the emergency of SOHA as a community based organization serving inclusively to its community.
Quite after its launching, the organization commenced the implementation of multiple development and humanitarian programs for creating sustainable and resilience livelihood for the people in Somaliland with intension across its boundaries at large.

Mission
To empower vulnerable families and individuals in Somaliland to improve their livelihoods by enabling them to strengthen and diversify their resource capacities, and through educational, healthcare and community awareness programs.
